To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

outerlocal Pre-Searing Cadet Join Date: Mar 2009 Guild: Imperial Phoenix [FIRE] Profession: Me/	Gw egg-stravaganza The [FIRE} Guild is hosting the "Guild Wars Egg-Stravaganza". Similar to an easter egg hunt, the event involves members of our guild hiding across the map of tyria in different outposts. Those participating in the event will have to find each of these members, and recieve from them a customised item (so no cheating :P) First person to obtain all items (fink it should be 10) will recieve a special prize. And 2nd and 3rd prizes as well ofc. Everyone after that who brings all 10 items to the starting point, will still get a lil something 4 taking part - even if its not quite as amazing as 1st 2nd and 3rd prize :P Well the actual event is taking place on Saturday 11th of April And should be starting at about 6pm GMT (10am PST).
